Amanda Craig – author

Amanda Craig is the author of nine novels, including The Lie Of The Land (set locally) and The Golden Rule (set on a fictional Cornish town). An acclaimed “State of the Nation” novelist she has twice been long-listed for the Women’s Prize, been chosen for Radio 4 Book At Bedtime and is a past winner of the Catherine Pakenham Award. Her fiction combines thrilling plots, strong characters, moral questions and black comedy. Most often compared to Dickens, Trollope and Kate Atkinson, she publishes The Three Graces, a novel about three elderly women friends who have retired to Tuscany, this June.
