Exeter Festival Chorus is one of the South West’s leading choral ensembles, renowned for its thrilling performances, diverse repertoire and warm community spirit. Founded in 1993, the Chorus has built an impressive reputation for presenting ambitious and artistic choral concerts in venues such as Exeter Cathedral and across Devon, bringing together singers and audiences who share a passion for great music.
Under the inspiring musical direction of Andrea Brown, the Chorus explores a broad range of repertoire — from Baroque masterpieces and classical choral works by Bach and Handel to contemporary compositions and seasonal programmes. Collaborations with professional soloists, orchestras and international partner choirs add depth and excitement to every season.

Exeter Festival Chorus is also proud to offer workshops and “Come and Sing” days, giving aspiring singers the opportunity to dive into challenging works in a supportive, friendly environment.
Membership is by audition, welcoming enthusiastic singers who can read music and are committed to musical excellence. Weekly rehearsals and a vibrant social atmosphere make EFC a rewarding place to develop vocal skill and lifelong friendships.
Whether you’re looking to perform or simply enjoy sublime choral music, Exeter Festival Chorus is at the heart of the region’s rich musical life.
